Dear Friends, I’ve moved to www.memoirsoftaste.com 🙂 I’d like to invite you to continue to journey with me, and I hope to see you on the other side!

Here’s me extending you a warm welcome to my blog! I began Memoirs of Taste in January 2015 as a diary to document my gastronomical experiences and experiments in the kitchen. I’ve always been fascinated by smell and tastes, and have a serious case of food love.

Living in cosmopolitan Singapore where new eating places are sprouting up all the time amongst other long-time names which every Singaporean would probably know, I decided to document my food escapades so that keeping track of my favourite establishments would be easier – this way, I’ll be ready with a shortlist of places to take friends whenever they come around.

Travelling is also a huge source of inspiration to me. There’s always so much to see, so much to discover, and so much to learn. I’ve been lucky to visit several places and met many amazing people, each of which have evoked a variety of responses – from hopefulness, to happiness, to thankfulness. I hope that perhaps through my posts, you’ll also be able to catch a glimpse of the amazing things happening around the world and draw inspiration from them too.
